Radomir Milošević is the founder and managing partner of Law Office Milosević. Prior to establishing an independent legal practice in 1991, Radomir gained extensive experience in international commercial law, shipping, maritime and insurance law while working in several Serbian (ex-Yugoslavian) renowned shipping companies and a UK law firm specialized in international maritime law – P&I clubs, Lloyd’s market and cargo insurance.
Radomir’s legal expertise includes time charters, bare-boat charters, lease and/or sale of vessels, damage to vessels and cargo, collision of vessels, ship arrest and personal injuries of crew members. Furthermore, he advises clients on matters of insurance law, building and repair of vessels, including their registration and temporary admission of vessels for private and commercial purposes.
In addition to his maritime law practice, Radomir has had a leading role in representing both investors and local companies in major privatization and M&A projects in Serbia and Montenegro in TMT, banking, FMCG, retail chains, healthcare and energy sector, regarding structuring the transactions, due diligence reports, negotiations and drafting transaction legal documents.
Radomir is also an eminent practitioner and arbitrator in the field of dispute resolution, in particular arbitration, both domestic and international. He has represented parties as legal counsel in commercial and investor-state arbitration proceedings, acted as expert witness and sat on arbitration tribunals as arbitrator and co-arbitrator before ICC, LCIA, SCAI, ICSID and UNCITRAL ad hoc arbitration.
Besides Radomir’s professional career as an attorney, he also devoted a part of his time to academic achievements earning titles of magister legum and doctor iuris in the fields of maritime and shipping law.
