Ivan is a legal practitioner with extensive experience in advising various local and international clients in international business law with special focus on commercial law, corporate, M&A, real estate and construction. He has considerable experience in representing clients in infrastructure, energy, automotive and leisure industry.
Ivan has represented clients in some of the most complex transactions in Serbia and Montenegro, including global M&A projects in the telecommunication and food and beverage industry where he worked together with international law firms and financial advisors.
His experience includes representation of foreign investor in acquisition of multibillion property in Montenegro and legal assistance to major railway company in developing infrastructure projects in Serbia.
Ivan is active in sports sector, advising professional athletes and coaches regarding negotiations pertaining to their engagement with sport organizations. He represents sportsmen in disputes before FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC), FIBA Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT), Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and other international sport arbitrations.
Ivan gained valuable experience and adopted best practices in legal industry while working in Pittsburgh office of an US-based law firm. Clients appreciate his excellent understanding of commercial aspects of business and pragmatic approach in tackling legal issues.

Ivan graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law in 2010 and holds a Master of Laws degree (cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh, Law School. He regularly attends specialized legal courses and participates in workshops in practice areas and industries of his interest.
